Tangible Thinking
Making the invisible visible

Ideas are difficult to apply when they remain abstract.
Terms like systems thinking, feedback loops, complexity or behavioural science are powerful, but they often stay trapped in books, lectures or conversations.
Tangible Thinking is my way of changing that.
It is a methodology for turning abstract ideas into something people can see, explore and use.
Instead of asking people to memorise concepts, I build visual frameworks, maps, models and Field Guides that make complex thinking tangible.
- When an idea becomes visible, it becomes easier to understand.
- When it becomes easier to understand, it becomes easier to discuss.
- When it becomes easier to discuss, it becomes easier to apply.
The goal is never to provide answers.
The goal is to reveal the hidden structures that allow better answers to emerge.
Whether I'm delivering a keynote, facilitating a Discovery Session, writing an article or creating a Field Guide, the objective remains the same:
To help people see what they couldn't see before.
The Tangible Thinking T-shirt
The T-shirt is more than a piece of merchandise. It is a visual expression of this philosophy.
Every design begins with a single recurring pattern—a hidden dynamic that shapes the way people think, behave or make decisions.
Each shirt belongs to a Category, is organised within a broader Field, and is published as a numbered Field Guide. Together they form a growing collection of recurring patterns found across many disciplines.
Rather than displaying a slogan, each design invites curiosity. It asks the wearer—and those around them—to pause, observe and discover the invisible structure beneath an everyday experience.
The world is richer than it first appears.
Because once you learn to recognise the hidden patterns around you, you rarely see the world in quite the same way again.
